There’s something captivating about surrounding yourself with things that carry a story. When I started Frankie & Claude, I wanted our pieces to feel like more than just products; I wanted them to evoke a sense of connection and history.

There’s one place that truly brought this feeling to life for me—the historic Wesley, formerly Ward House, in Walla Walla, WA, where I stayed on a girls' weekend a few years ago.

This old house turned Airbnb was built in 1878 - nearly 150 years ago. Wandering its halls, I wondered about the lives it had touched. Who lived here? What family Christmases, celebrations, and quiet moments took place within its walls? It was mesmerizing to me.

This fascination with the history of a place or a thing is what I pour into Frankie & Claude. Each item, from our match jars to our greeting cards, holds a purpose—to bring warmth and meaning into the everyday.
